Reading

Yesterday, we used the BBC site to watch a clip of David Walliams reading from his book, ‘Slime.’  We then had a choice of 3 retrieval activities.  I would like you to use the same link but choose a different retrieval activity from the 3.  Tomorrow, we shall be moving on to inference activities, using a different text.

Click the picture of Mr. Walliams to go to the correct page…

There are 3 activities, ONLY CHOOSE ONE!

Insulators & Conductors

Watch the silly video clip before to find out about conductors and insulators, as well as see a vampire that really reminds me of Mr. Mathieson!!!

Now, just like the vampire in the video, I want you to draw up a list making predictions about what materials around your home could be conductors or insulators!

Now, here is a padlet wall that we can add our ideas to.  This will let us see what objects your friends have chosen and whether they think they are an insulator or conductor!  Double click on the screen to add your object.  Remember to add your name to the post-it and put it on the right part of the screen to show if you think it is a conductor or an insulator!
