Joe Wicks PE

Hi Year 3,

It has been great to hear from some of you.

It is clear that you are enjoying Joe Wicks’ PE sessions first thing in a morning and what a brilliant way to start the day!

With schools closed and with us all spending more time at home, it is more important than ever that we keep moving and stay healthy and positive. Exercise is an amazing tool to help us feel happier, more energised and more optimistic.

For those wanting to take part (and please do) you can join Joe Wicks on his YouTube channel at 9:00am each morning for a 30-minute, fun workout.

You don’t need any equipment, just a smile and a can-do-it attitude.

Enjoy, Year 3 and keep me posted.

Mr Mathieson

Personal best in PE

We have been pushing our bodies in PE by completing various fitness activities:

  • side twists
  • leg squeeze
  • crunches
  • skipping
  • cross squats
  • side bends
  • ball lifts
  • jump mats
  • press ups
  • lunges and squats.

We are going to keep a record of our scores and see if we can achieve a new personal best.

Sorry if there are any aching children but at least they will sleep well!

Freddy Fit

I like to move it, move it, I like to, MOVE IT!

We pushed our bodies and learned about healthy options during Freddy Fit, it was so much fun!
